As a Skiff Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation on the water. You will operate skiffs for various activities, including fishing excursions and wildlife tours. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for marine environments and excellent navigational skills. This role requires adherence to safety standards, ensuring the wellbeing of both passengers and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain skiffs for various water-based excursions.
• Conduct safety briefings for passengers before boarding.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations as needed.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in working order.
• Create a pleasant atmosphere for all guests during trips.
• Document and report any incidents or anomalies immediately.
• Foster teamwork and communication with crew members.
• Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions.
• Assist in planning routes for efficiency and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace on the vessels.

Requirements

Experience

• Experience in water sports instruction or coaching is desirable.
