Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinic in Toowoomba. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our patients, including medical evaluations, surgical procedures, and preventative care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pet health issues and recommend treatments.
• Conduct routine and emergency surgeries.
• Monitor anesthesia during surgeries.
• Implement vaccination programs for pets.
• Work closely with pet owners to discuss health options.
• Document patient interactions and treatments thoroughly.
• Foster a caring and supportive environment for staff and clients.
• Participate in outreach programs to educate the public on pet health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or related field
• Postgraduate credentials in a specialized veterinary field are advantageous

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of practical experience in veterinary settings

Certifications
