Job Description

As an OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive healthcare to women. You will conduct examinations, provide prenatal and postpartum care, and manage gynecological conditions while collaborating with a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with diverse gynecologic and obstetric conditions.
  • Assist with routine gynecologic exams and prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Conduct family planning consultations and provide comprehensive counseling.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures as necessary and appropriate.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care.
  • Participate in collaborative health plan development with specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing patient education regarding health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff and nursing students.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Obstetrics/Gynecology
  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as an OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner
