Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients.
• Create and execute treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Engage in ongoing assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide education and support to families about mental health conditions.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs for new staff.
• Advocate for best practices in mental health care within the healthcare community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Fellowship in Psychiatry or equivalent specialization

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a psychiatric practice setting

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Crisis Intervention

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Flexibility

Certifications

• AHPRA Registration
• RANZCP Fellowship (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
