Pet Care Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pet Care Specialist who is passionate about animals and committed to providing the highest standard of care. You will be responsible for feeding, grooming, and exercising pets, as well as creating a safe and loving environment for them.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the wellbeing of all animals by providing quality care and attention.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
• Monitor pets during activities to prevent accidents.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for pets.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Assist in training new staff in proper pet care techniques.
• Contribute to the development of a safe and enriching environment for all pets.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II or III in Animal Care or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience in administering medication and treatments to pets is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pet grooming: Additional skills in grooming and bathing pets are beneficial.
