Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Pathologist to perform autopsies and forensic examinations for a leading forensic service provider in Sydney. This role involves collaborating with law enforcement, writing reports, and providing expert testimony in court.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform complex autopsies to ascertain precise causes of death.
  • Provide expert consultation to law enforcement during investigations.
  • Generate and present reports and findings to various legal entities.
  • Contribute to academic research in forensic pathology.
  • Coordinate with a team of professionals to ensure thorough investigations.
  • Provide insight during court cases and criminal proceedings.
  • Maintain current knowledge of legal standards and forensic protocols.
  • Ensure meticulous maintenance of forensic equipment and facilities.

Requirements

Education
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Relevant postgraduate training in forensic medicine is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in forensic investigations.
