Job Description

We are seeking an experienced First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers to oversee the cloth grading process. The successful candidate will manage a dedicated team, ensure quality standards are met, and foster an efficient and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the cloth grading team.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the production manager to align on goals.
• Review and maintain documentation related to grading processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor new team members and assist in their development.
• Participate in production meetings to align priorities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in textile quality control or related management roles

Technical Skills

• Quality Management Systems
• Statistical Process Control

• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of different types of cloth materials: Understanding of various fabric types and their grading requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools: Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical software is a plus.
