Job Description

As a Reinforcing Iron and Rebar Worker, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining iron structures for various construction projects. You'll collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure timely and precise installation, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute the installation of iron reinforcements according to project specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections of materials and work sites to identify safety hazards.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Calibrate and operate welding equipment effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report any issues or inconsistencies to the Site Manager promptly.
• Participate in regular safety training and team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or similar
• Valid driver's license

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural installation

Technical Skills

• Iron Fabrication
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certified in First Aid: Having up-to-date First Aid qualifications is beneficial.
• Experience in commercial projects: Previous work on larger commercial construction projects is an advantage.
