Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pulp Machine Operator for our dynamic team in Melbourne. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating and maintaining our pulp machines, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role is pivotal in meeting our production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular checks on machinery and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain equipment in line with operational standards to minimize downtime.
• Ensure correct materials are used for production processes.
• Participate in safety meetings to discuss best practices and concerns.
• Assist in the setup of production runs and machinery adjustments when needed.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing
• Relevant tertiary qualification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in operating pulp manufacturing equipment
