Public Health Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Public Health Officer who is passionate about community health. You will work closely with local agencies to implement health initiatives and policies that enhance the wellbeing of residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead community health initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access and quality.
• Develop educational materials for the community regarding health resources.
• Serve as a liaison between the health department and community organisations.
• Implement public health policies and assess their impact on community health outcomes.
• Participate in emergency preparedness planning for public health crises.
• Analyse demographic data to assess health disparities and target interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or closely related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is highly desirable

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience working in public health or community health programs

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
