Job Description
In the role of Landing Man, you will ensure that all flight operations are successful by maintaining runway safety and performing critical equipment operations.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough inspections of the runway before aircraft operations.
Work closely with air traffic control to manage landing schedules.
Utilize effective communication to respond to real-time operational needs.
Maintain accurate records of runway usage and incidents.
Provide exceptional service to pilots and ground staff.
Identify and report any safety concerns immediately.
Ensure all equipment is operational and well-maintained.
Adapt to dynamic weather conditions and their impact on flight operations.
Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support training new staff in runway operations.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Aviation Management or related field
Experience
At least 2 years in an airport environment.
