Logging Equipment Operator

Job Description

As a Logging Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to efficiently load and unload logs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid crane operator's license and have experience operating heavy machinery in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections on cranes and other logging equipment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
• Participate in safety training and meetings to enhance personal and team safety awareness.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in heavy machinery operation are advantageous.

Experience

• Experience working in the logging and forestry industry is preferred.
