Security Manager

Job Description

The Security Manager will oversee all security operations within our renowned museum. This role involves developing and implementing security procedures, managing security personnel, and liaising with local law enforcement to ensure the safety of our exhibits and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security team in safeguarding museum assets and personnel.
• Develop training programs for security staff on emergency response and first aid.
• Implement advanced security technologies to enhance safety measures.
• Create and maintain incident report documentation.
• Facilitate security audits and inspections.
• Guide and assist staff in following security procedures.
• Collaborate with curatorial staff to align security measures with museum objectives.
• Evaluate and improve existing security systems and protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and security awareness among all employees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in security management, preferably within a museum or similar environment.

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
