Job Description

We are seeking skilled Prepress Technicians and Workers to prepare digital files for our printing services. Your role will be vital in ensuring print quality and efficiency, collaborating closely with graphic designers and production teams to deliver outstanding printed products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electronic files for print production, ensuring formatting meets the required specifications.
• Conduct prepress checks to confirm files are free from errors.
• Assist in the proofreading and editing of materials prior to printing.
• Work alongside the graphic design team to ensure customer design specifications are achieved.
• Maintain and update electronic archives of all digital files.
• Provide hands-on support for printing equipment as needed.
• Monitor production output and assist in maintaining quality standards.
• Keep abreast of new developments in print technologies and software.
• Assist in creating templates and guidelines for file submissions.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Printing or equivalent

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in prepress or a related production role

Technical Skills

• Enfocus PitStop Pro
• Prinergy Workflow

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with variable data printing: Experience in preparing files for variable data printing tasks.
• Knowledge of XML workflow and scripting: Understanding of XML-based workflows for printing.
