Job Description

As a Logging Worker at Forestry Solutions Ltd., you will be essential in the timber production process. You will operate machinery, assist with tree harvesting, and ensure that all activities adhere to safety and environmental guidelines while contributing to the sustainability goals of our company.

Responsibilities

• Execute tree felling and the removal of branches and debris.
• Review logging plans and adhere to sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with other forestry specialists to optimize logging operations.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• TAFE qualification in Forestry or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of field experience in logging operations

Technical Skills

• Timber Processing Skills
• Environmental Regulations Compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• Heavy Vehicle License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a forestry role: Experience with various forestry operations is highly regarded.
