Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fishing and Hunting Worker to join our team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for harvesting clams from the ocean floor and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance checks on clamming equipment.
  • Manage harvest quotas and ensure efficient operations.
  • Work closely with marine biologists to monitor clam populations.
  • Participate in community outreach programs.
  • Advise on sustainable fishing practices to ensure long-term resource health.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct training sessions on safety protocols for the team.
  • Assist in developing new operational procedures.
  • Gather data for research and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Education
  • Additional certifications in marine or environmental science are a plus.
