Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fishing and Hunting Worker to join our team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for harvesting clams from the ocean floor and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance checks on clamming equipment.
Manage harvest quotas and ensure efficient operations.
Work closely with marine biologists to monitor clam populations.
Participate in community outreach programs.
Advise on sustainable fishing practices to ensure long-term resource health.
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Conduct training sessions on safety protocols for the team.
Assist in developing new operational procedures.
Gather data for research and compliance purposes.
Requirements
Education
Additional certifications in marine or environmental science are a plus.
