Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Grooving Machine Operator to join our vibrant team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of grooving machines essential to our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a solid understanding of various materials.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage grooving machinery as per operational guidelines.
• Keep track of machine functioning to guarantee optimal operation.
• Evaluate material quality consistently and implement changes as needed.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and deliver timely solutions.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain workspace order.
• Engage with team members to fulfil production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities and metrics.
• Carry out quality assurance checks on completed goods.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and performance.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certification in relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of operating experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
