Job Description

The Sugar Drier plays a crucial role in the production process, operating and maintaining equipment to ensure the drying of sugar is completed to the highest standards. You will work closely with the production team to monitor workflows and achieve quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the drying process and adjust machine settings as necessary.
• Maintain daily production logs and quality assurance documents.
• Coordinate with the operations team for effective workflow.
• Conduct checks to ensure that machinery operates safely and effectively.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualifications are preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a high-volume production facility is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to multitask and prioritise

Advantageous

• Experience operating other heavy machinery: Skills in operating heavy machinery relevant to production.
