Join our dynamic team as a Gypsum Roofer. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of gypsum roofing systems while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Experience in the industry and a strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding and ensuring all materials are available.
• Follow blueprints to achieve accurate measurements and installations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries.
• Manage your workload efficiently to complete projects on time.
• Work in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with new roofing techniques and materials.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of materials.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Roofing
• Additional certifications in construction are advantageous.

Experience

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in roofing.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of building codes
• Safety procedures

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Safety and Health Official
• ATA Driver's License (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in other construction fields.: Experience with carpentry or general construction is an asset.
