Granite Block Paver

Job Description

As a Granite Block Paver, you will be integral in laying granite blocks for various projects, including pathways, patios, and driveways. Successful candidates will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team to achieve high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing surfaces for paving by excavating and leveling.
• Use surveying equipment to ensure accuracy in installations.
• Check and maintain the quality of materials used for paving.
• Work collaboratively with the landscaping team for comprehensive project delivery.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide updates on task completion to the Site Supervisor.
• Actively participate in site safety meetings and training.
• Use CAD software to assist in planning and design where necessary.
• Identify and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ensure that completed work meets quality expectations and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience in stone paving installation highly regarded.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read blueprints
• Use of power tools

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Landscape design experience: Experience with design and plant selection is advantageous.
• Heavy machinery experience: Familiarity operating machinery such as excavators is a plus.
