Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team in Wollongong. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing employee training programs that enhance performance and support career development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of employees and align with organisational objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and metrics, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with department managers to develop specific training content related to their teams.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on various topics including compliance, skills development, and soft skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in learning and development.
• Assist in the development of training manuals and resources.
• Support the onboarding process for new employees through orientation and training initiatives.
• Promote continuous learning and development within the organisation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a learning and development role or related field

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in e-learning development: Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline or Captivate.
• Knowledge of performance management processes: Familiarity with creating performance improvement plans and coaching employees.
