Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team in Wollongong. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing employee training programs that enhance performance and support career development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of training sessions to ensure effective delivery.
• Implement innovative instructional strategies to engage employees during learning sessions.
• Monitor external training vendors and assess their service delivery.
• Maintain and manage training records and documentation.
• Provide recommendations for employee development pathways based on performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement e-learning modules and digital learning resources.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to reinforce learning objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a learning and development role or related field

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in e-learning development: Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline or Captivate.
• Knowledge of performance management processes: Familiarity with creating performance improvement plans and coaching employees.
