Job Description

We are seeking a Staff Sonographer responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate must maintain high-quality imaging standards while ensuring patient care and comfort. This role requires proficiency in maintaining detailed patient records and troubleshooting ultrasound equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Document patient information and ultrasound results accurately.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout ultrasound procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance of ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and students.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Sonography
• Current registration with ASAR

Experience

• 2+ years of practical experience performing ultrasound procedures.

Technical Skills

• Vascular Ultrasound
• Gynaecological Ultrasound

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound: Proficient in imaging musculoskeletal structures.
