Job Description

As a Transit and Railroad Police Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining public safety across transportation networks. This position involves patrolling transit areas, responding to incidents, and collaborating with community members to ensure a safe travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to prevent crime and respond to emergencies.
• Engage actively with community members to build trust and rapport.
• Monitor transit systems through CCTV and ground patrols.
• Collaborate with public transport staff to enhance security measures.
• Document all incidents accurately for legal and safety records.
• Provide first aid and emergency response care during incidents.
• Assist in traffic control at major transport intersections.
• Participate in crime prevention and public safety initiatives.
• Engage in conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on law enforcement techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of high school education or equivalent
• Successful completion of a police academy training program

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications
