Agricultural Technician

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Agricultural Technician who is passionate about sustainable farming practices. In this role, you will work closely with local farmers, providing expert advice and conducting research to improve crop yields and reduce environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency in farming operations.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders within the agricultural community.
• Monitor environmental issues that may affect local agriculture and propose solutions.
• Work with local government and organisations to advocate for agricultural best practices.
• Lead workshops to educate farmers on emerging agricultural technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or relevant field
• Master's degree in related discipline is an asset

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in agricultural consulting or management
