Nib Inspector

Job Description

As a Nib Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring quality control by conducting thorough inspections of nibs used in dental products. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will help us maintain the high standards our patients expect.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of nibs for quality assurance in compliance with specifications.
• Evaluate and report on nib performance and detect deviations.
• Utilize inspection tools and quality control software to record findings.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to troubleshoot quality issues.
• Implement corrective actions for identified problems in nib production.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the quality team.

Requirements

Education

• Australian Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar quality control role

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Quality control software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with ISO standards will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of nib production processes: Understanding of the nib production cycle and quality implications.
