Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Economist to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will create and test recipes, develop meal plans, and conduct engaging cooking demonstrations for our clients, helping them to enhance their culinary skills and nutritional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group consultations on household budgeting, nutrition, and meal planning.
• Analyze and interpret data related to food and nutrition for improved service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and program effectiveness.
• Develop marketing content for social media to promote cooking classes and workshops.
• Engage with community groups to foster awareness regarding home economics services.
• Provide training and support to new team members.
• Assist in organizing community events focused on nutrition and cooking.
• Collect feedback to enhance programs and adapt to the evolving needs of clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Nutrition or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or Culinary Arts is preferred

Experience

• Experience in teaching Home Economics or Culinary Arts is a plus
