Job Description

As a Fruit Buyer, you will play a vital role in sourcing high-quality fruits from both local and international markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends and have excellent negotiation skills to secure the best deals for our company. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase fruit from local growers and farmers.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure enough produce to meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure all produce meets quality standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with growers and farmers.
• Monitor market trends to adjust purchasing strategies.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to meet customer needs.
• Manage budgets and financial targets related to purchases.
• Stay updated on industry technologies and developments.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities for management.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to build supplier relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a relevant field

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management

• CRM Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
