Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Bendigo. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in veterinary medicine. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various conditions, performing routine examinations, and collaborating with pet owners to provide the best care for their pets.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage care protocols for patients effectively.
  • Take part in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
  • Assist in the training of junior veterinarians and interns.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor healing and health.
  • Assess risks and provide advice on pet safety and wellness.
  • Engage in laboratory work to analyze test results.
  • Support clinic operations by contributing to team efforts.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Graduate diploma or certificate in an advanced veterinary field preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of veterinary practice experience.
