Job Description

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Cutting, Punching, and Press Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender. In this role, you will set up and operate machinery while maintaining optimal performance standards. Your hands-on experience with machinery, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will be essential in addressing any operational challenges. Collaboration with team members to enhance production efficiency is key to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Execute machine setups and adjustments accurately to meet production targets.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting to uphold production standards.
  • Track operational statistics to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Engage with the quality control team to ensure product standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety.
  • Participate in team meetings for discussion of workflow and process improvements.
  • Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering to enhance machine capabilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels of machine parts and supplies for timely reordering.

Requirements

Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certification or training in machine operation and maintenance is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in machine setting or a related field
