Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Woodworking Machine Setter to join our team. The suitable candidate will have prior experience operating and setting up woodworking machines, specifically in sanding various surfaces including wood and metal.

Responsibilities

• Operate sanding machines to process materials as per work orders.
• Prepare surfaces before sanding by cleaning and ensuring readiness.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation.
• Identify and suggest improvements for workflow and machine efficiency.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in carpentry or machining preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in woodworking or machine operation

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
