Job Description

As a Signal and Track Switch Repairer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing railway switches and signals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rail network. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of railway systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to diagnose issues in railway signalling systems.
• Conduct installations and upgrades for track switches.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians and apprentices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards.
• Manage schedules for routine maintenance to minimise disruptions.
• Implement best practices in railway maintenance strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Advanced Trade

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in railway maintenance and repair works

Certifications
