Job Description

As a Court, Municipal, and License Clerk, you will provide essential administrative support and assist in managing various legal cases. Your role will involve filing and processing documents, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with court procedures. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are critical in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of court proceedings and case outcomes.
  • Assist with the preparation of court exhibits and evidence.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team during trials.
  • Compile and distribute documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Attend court hearings as required and take notes.
  • Assist in the training of junior clerical staff as needed.
  • Develop and implement office procedures to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Legal Studies or a similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • Preferably 2-4 years of experience in the legal sector
