Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Darwin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements, and representing the firm in legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Navigate complex negotiations and ensure legally sound outcomes.
• Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Managing Partner regarding legal matters.
• Advise on risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Handle sensitive legal issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Ensure the protection of the organisation's intellectual property.
• Provide insights and recommendations for legal improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Law is preferable

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in a corporate environment

Languages
