Job Description

We are seeking a Field Court Researcher to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing legal information from courts to assist our legal partners. This role requires strong research and communication skills along with a solid understanding of the legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Attend court proceedings to gather first-hand information.
  • Analyze legal documents and provide summaries to support ongoing cases.
  • Build relationships with court personnel to facilitate information exchange.
  • Ensure compliance with legal research standards and protocols.
  • Prepare presentations based on your research for team discussions.
  • Maintain a database of records collected from court visits.
  • Support the legal team with any ad-hoc research requests.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a closely-related field
  • Recognition by a professional association in the legal field is preferred
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in legal research or court analysis
