Roving Color Checker

Job Description

The Roving Color Checker will play a crucial role in ensuring that products maintain consistent color quality throughout the production process, meeting stringent customer specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of color theory.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily color checks on products during various stages of production.
• Assess product samples against color specifications.
• Provide reports on color quality issues and trends.
• Implement corrective actions for any identified color discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for color consistency checks.
• Develop training materials on color quality techniques.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of color quality processes.
• Work closely with R&D teams to enhance product color formulations.
• Support management in maintaining quality certification requirements.
• Foster a culture of quality awareness across teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Color Science or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in relevant quality control roles within manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Color calibration techniques
• Quality management systems

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with advanced color analysis software: Experience using software for color matching and analysis.
