Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that transactions are processed timely and efficiently. You will collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting, while also managing invoices and payroll activities. The right candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of Australian accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries with precision.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of financial statements.
  • Support the year-end financial close process.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to management.
  • Manage vendor relationships and payment schedules.
  • Assist in the training of junior bookkeepers.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of financial processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
