Job Description

As a Menu Planner at Catering Solutions Pty Ltd., you will be responsible for creating enticing and nutritious menus for catering events. You'll collaborate closely with our culinary team to ensure that each menu is balanced, appealing, and meets client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage menus tailored for various dietary needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay current with food industry trends.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to align on client preferences.
  • Evaluate ingredient availability and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Track and report on cost-effectiveness of menu items.
  • Support chef training on new dishes and menu items.
  • Ensure that all recipes are documented and standardized.
  • Assist in promotional activities related to new menu launches.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss menu performance and strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Arts or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in food service or menu planning
