Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer or Boiler Operator responsible for operating and maintaining steam boilers. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and safe boiler operations while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols in boiler operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of steam boiler systems.
• Document operational data and ensure accurate reporting.
• Resolve operational inefficiencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team for continuous improvement.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on boiler operations.
• Participate in emergency response procedures when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Appropriate qualifications as per state regulations for boiler operation
• Desirable: Relevant trade qualification in engineering

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in high-pressure boiler operations preferred

• Boiler control systems
• Thermal efficiency analysis

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
