Job Description

We are currently seeking an Environmental Geologist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for studying and assessing the geological factors affecting our environment. This role is crucial in providing expert analysis on land contamination, assessing groundwater quality, and evaluating natural hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork and site investigations to evaluate geological conditions.
  • Draft technical reports based on research findings and geological interpretations.
  • Collaborate with environmental engineers and scientists on cross-disciplinary projects.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols on-site.
  • Use statistical and analytical methods to interpret hydrogeological data.
  • Support grant applications and project proposals with scientific data.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental impact assessments
