We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our dedicated team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing environmental impacts, conducting field surveys, and providing expert advice to clients on sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a passion for conservation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and mitigate impacts of proposed projects on the environment.
• Collaborate with government agencies to ensure project compliance.
• Analyze data to inform environmental strategy development.
• Conduct public consultations and engage the community in environmental issues.
• Develop educational materials for clients on best sustainability practices.
• Identify funding opportunities for environmental projects.
• Support efforts to enhance biodiversity and conservation.
• Document findings to support environmental regulatory processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines
• Master's degree or additional certifications in environmental management is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in the field of environmental consulting
