Pediatrician (Neonatologist)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist to join our esteemed team at XYZ Hospital. The successful candidate will provide expert care to premature and critically ill newborn infants in our state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary rounds to assess and plan care strategies for patients.
• Perform neonatal procedures as required, including intubation and central line placement.
• Utilise evidence-based practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in neonatology.
• Participate in hospital committees focused on improving neonatal care standards.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Board certification in Neonatology

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience in a neonatal setting

Technical Skills

• Advanced procedural skills
• Familiarity with NICU protocols

Soft Skills

• Team leadership
• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
