We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Coffs Harbour. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with taxation regulations. You will assist clients in navigating complex tax issues, helping them maximize their tax efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax return preparation and filings for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research, advising on compliance and planning strategies.
• Review financial statements to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients with audits and tax disputes.
• Provide ongoing support and communication with clients to address their questions.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Prepare and present tax planning recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or MBA is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax consulting
