Job Description

As a Sewer Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing sewer systems, ensuring they function effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach with various tools to assess, fix, and improve sewer infrastructures. Collaborating with engineers and city officials, you will implement preventative measures to enhance system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular sewer system assessments for potential issues.
  • Implement repairs on sewer lines, pumps, and valves as needed.
  • Utilise advanced sewer inspection camera systems for diagnostics.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving sewer infrastructure.
  • Work with city officials to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Provide detailed reports on sewer system condition and repairs.
  • Assist in the development of training programs for new technicians.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Water and Wastewater Operations is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sewer maintenance
