Job Description

The Alligator Hunter is responsible for capturing and removing alligators from both private and public properties. The ideal candidate will also conduct research on alligator populations and behaviors, contributing to effective wildlife management in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Execute alligator removal operations in high-risk areas.
  • Analyze behavioral patterns of alligator populations for conservation efforts.
  • Train and supervise new team members in safe capture techniques.
  • Engage with community members to address concerns related to alligator encounters.
  • Compile and analyse data on alligator populations for scientific reports.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal wildlife regulations at all times.
  • Participate in wildlife conservation initiatives and public seminars.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of practical field experience in wildlife management or similar roles
