As a Tax Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the complexities of tax compliance and planning. Your expertise will be essential in developing strategies that adhere to regulations while maximizing client benefits. You'll work closely with clients to gather necessary documents, prepare and review tax returns, and provide valuable insights on tax planning strategies. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will ensure that clients receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth tax analyses and prepare accurate tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax strategies and planning throughout the year.
• Communicate complex tax information clearly to clients.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss taxation matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare necessary documentation.
• Review tax legislation and assess impacts on client strategies.
• Support the marketing efforts of the firm, educating clients on services.
• Implement new software and tools for tax preparation.
• Mentor newcomers within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree or CPA preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax preparation or consulting
