Job Description

As an Automotive and Watercraft Service Attendant (Gas Jockey), you will be responsible for providing fuel to customers, ensuring the safe operation of fuel dispensers, and maintaining a clean refueling station. Your role is critical in delivering top-notch customer service and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, providing assistance and promoting services.
• Ensure a safe and efficient operation of fuel dispensers.
• Maintain a neat and clean refueling area by regularly checking facilities.
• Assist with sales transactions, including cash handling and card processing.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, especially regarding fuel handling.
• Perform regular inspections of the vehicle maintenance equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance customer experience.
• Complete shift reports and restock supplies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in fuel dispensers and operating equipment
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Soft Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• First Aid/CPR certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with point-of-sale systems: Familiarity with electronic payment processing.
