Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Mill Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual milling machines to produce accurate and high-quality machined components. This position is based in Perth and requires a strong understanding of machining processes as well as attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual milling machines to produce components as per engineering specifications.
  • Monitor production processes and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Document production data and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Train new employees on operating procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years experience operating manual milling machines in a manufacturing environment is required.

Languages

Advantageous

  • Experience with welding and fabrication.: Skills in welding and fabrication would be considered a plus.
