After School Coordinator

Job Description

As an After School Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of our after-school program. This includes managing staff, coordinating engaging activities, and ensuring a safe environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities that promote physical, academic, and social development.
• Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and program effectiveness.
• Engage with the community to foster positive relationships.
• Implement a system for feedback from children, parents, and staff.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for the program.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience managing or coordinating programs.

Technical Skills

• First Aid skills
• Behavior management techniques

• Problem-solving skills
• Team leadership

Certifications

• Child Protection training
• Certificate in Child Development

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional qualifications in education or child development: Preference for additional training or certification relevant to childcare or education.
