Job Description

As an Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Technician, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance, repair, and operation of UAVs. Your expertise will ensure the safety and efficiency of aerial operations across multiple sectors, including agriculture, construction, and aerial photography. The successful candidate will work closely with a dynamic team, leveraging the latest in UAV technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of UAV systems.
  • Diagnose and repair technical faults, ensuring UAVs remain operational.
  • Collaborate in the calibration and testing of UAV equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for UAV operations.
  • Document all maintenance procedures and technical adjustments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies.
  • Participate in the design and improvement of UAV systems.
  • Deliver training sessions for staff on UAV safety and operation.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and software to analyse flight data.
  • Assist in the processing of UAV-related data for various project needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate in UAV Operations or related field
  • RePL certification from CASA preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in UAV operation and maintenance.
