Job Description

We are seeking an Educational Counselor who is passionate about guiding students to reach their academic and career goals. You'll assess students' needs, provide personalized advice, and support them in navigating their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Evaluate and identify students’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Guide students through the course selection process.
• Provide advice on career paths and professional development.
• Create individualized educational plans for students.
• Facilitate workshops related to scholarship opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with faculty to support student success.
• Develop outreach programs to connect with diverse populations.
• Advocate for student needs within the educational system.
• Maintain confidential records of student interactions and progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Education or Counseling preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the education or counseling industry

Technical Skills

• Counseling techniques
• Data analysis

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Counselor Certification
• Certification in Educational Counseling preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Master’s degree in Education or Counseling: Preferred for advanced knowledge and skills.
• Experience with international students: Ability to address the diverse needs of students from various backgrounds.
